The 23rd annual SAG awards took place this past Saturday.

Our favorite winners of the night were the female-led cast of Hidden Figures which was awarded the SAG for Outstanding Performance by a a cast in a motion Picture.

We also can’t not mention the brilliance that is Denzel Washington who not only directed Fences but starred in it as well. For his excellence he took home the best actor nod while his equally talented co-star Viola Davis snagged the outstanding supporting award.

Let’s also not forget Mahershala Ali who took home the award for outstanding supporting actor for his role in Moonlight.
