The Beauty Brunch (May 6th 1:30-3:30):
Kick the show off this year with a brand new event which will give you the opportunity to spend extra time with favorite artists and brands. Drink champagne & cocktails and indulge in delicious food while connecting with industry insiders in a more intimate environment. Moises Ramirez Gallery:
The NYC-based painter and makeup artist will be unveiling his work in a gallery at this year’s show. Moises blends painting, photography, makeup artistry, illustration and drawing to influence each other in his work. After relocating to New York City 8 years ago, he has conceptualized creative looks for global beauty brands, on top of working the last 12 seasons of NYFW. Through color and texture, he is exploring the idea of beauty and what we find beautiful today. His gallery will be unveiled at the Beauty Brunch and then on display during The Makeup Show NYC on May 7th and 8th.
The Makeup Show Beauty Tour NYC (May 9th 2:00-6:30):
The city the never sleep is known for its fast pace, fashionable people, and its place as a first-rate city for the best in beauty. Join The Makeup Show’s Director of Education and Artist Relations, James Vincent, as he takes you to some of his favorite fashion and makeup destinations. With a glass of bubbly in your hand, you’ll accompany James on the champagne-fueled ride through Manhattan, with stops along the way at his favorite makeup haunts. You’ll get the inside scoop behind the brands and leave with a goodie bag full of James’ favorites. Stops including NYX Professional Makeup, MAC, Sephora, Temptu, The Body Shop, MAKE UP FOREVER and more!
