Product Junkie’s Guide to getting the Latest Beauty Products on a Budget

Do you have a plethora of products stashed away under your bathroom sink? Are any of those items barely used or unopened? If you answered yes to any of these, then you are a certified product junkie! Buying all those products and sometimes forgetting about them can become a one way ticket for your money down the drain. This guide will show you how easier it is to try new items without committing to and entire line of products you may not even like.

Beauty subscriptions

The best way to try the newest products out for the season is having a beauty subscription. Yes, you will have to pay a monthly fee, but if you calculate the amount of money you spend on your products a month you’ll be quick to sign up. Try Birchbox, Ipsy, GLOSSYBOX and Curlbox for great beauty and hair samples under $25 a month. Each subscription is different; however you’ll be able to try out 4-6 different brands at one time.

Beauty Expos

Beauty expos are great for finding new items to try that may have not reached mainstream. Supporting local small businesses is always a plus and sometimes you get to enjoy some really cool finds. Always ask for sample packs when buying new products that you are not familiar with. You’ll save more by trying out samples without committing to a whole container of product. Search Eventbrite for events. Purchase tickets from Groupon if possible and get a discount on event tickets.

Travel Size

Travel sizes are a product junkie’s dream! Shop travel sizes on cosmetics and buy sample packs on new hair conditioners. They are not only half the price but you won’t feel the pinch by chucking some of the samples away if they don’t work well for you.
